free time

time time time. what to do with free time. today i finished all my work by 9am, yesterday by 10 and the day before by 11. this just started this week, all of this free time. i spent a day surfing the web, a day reading nanny diaries and now i have out of ideas. what to do? i have to sit here until 4:30... and usually it's not this slooow at work but for some reason this week is especially bad. maybe because it's month-end close for the profit centers so we don't have checks. i dunno.

i've also been thinking about free time in the evenings. by now, i am getting a routine down and getting used to the 8-hr work days. other than jogging when i get home, i don't have many post-dinner plans. i don't want to fall into the trap of watching TV like many I know. I started an Alameda library card this week, though, and got some books, as well as some books from the CFC church library. I also plan on taking community college classes when they start again, maybe in January or so, and college of alameda is down the street from me! and laney college is just a couple minutes away too. i would like to take advanced accounting classes and american sign language classes and maybe even take an intro computer programming class because i've always wondered what that was like and never got to take CS3 in college. but what to do until then...
